Why this candidate should be considered for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Nominee should exemplify the following: is a privately held commercial enterprise that employs 1-50 people; demonstrates the intent and capacity to grow based on sustainable competitive advantage, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership and employee or sales growth; a start-up company that must have opened during 2011; met a need in the community; developed and fostered the virtues and skills of civic engagement and social responsibility within the company.
